    Our current lifestyle and food habits have varieties of impacts on our lives and out of which infertility is the most common problem. Fertility is not just the word it’s the ability to transfer one’s DNA to the future generation. In short, it is the possibility of eternal existence.

    The major cause of these abnormalities is improper work-life balance, we are often stressed with work, family issues, and financial instability. Prolonged stressed conditions affect egg production and ovulation and sometimes it may lead to infertility.

    The effects of stress also have all together negative impact on fertility. To overcome stress, we often take rest under the roof of smoking and drinking. Studies may have a different opinion about smoking and drinking but seldom it relieves people from stress.

    Apart from the lifestyle, we have chosen fast food as an easy substitute for home-cooked food which also has an impact on ovulation and egg production. We are unaware of the ingredients and their nutrition values which may be detrimental to health as a whole.

    Many research evidence suggests that some of the food items may have a miraculous attribute that may prevent infertility however its efficacy varies from person to person and the degree of damage they want to arrest.

    What are the foods to improve female fertility?

    There isn’t any food that can cure infertility however the consumption of a balanced diet may help in balancing the essential nutrition in the body which may help in improving fertility and enhances the chance of conception.

    Dairy Products

    Studies suggest that low-fat dairy intake interferes with ovulation fertility and reduces the chance of pregnancy and on the other hand high-fat dairy consumption increase the chance of pregnancy. However, excess consumption may lead to excess hormones in the body which may impact ovaries.

    Dairy is rich in saturated fats, vitamin D, calcium, and other nutrients which may help in providing healthy ovulation and egg production. It may also help in promoting the libido formation for healthy intercourse.

    Eggs

    Eggs are rich in iron, calcium, zinc, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, and vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acid which play important role in improving libido and healthier ovulation. In addition to this, it also contains vitamin A, D, and K which provided a healthy hormonal balance.

    Eggs also contain zinc which improves sperm motility and blood circulation in reproductive organs. Since it is a cheap source of essential nutrients which may improve fertility, it can be consumed regularly which may increase the chance of conception.

    Salmon

    Salmon is rich in vitamin D, selenium, and omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for the blood circulation in reproductive organs. Omega -3 fatty acids are known to be beneficial against infertility in both men and women.

    The consumption of salmon and other fatty fish will help in boosting the libido and ovulation within women and results in providing healthy intercourse with an increased chance of conception.

    It’s always advisable to go for wild salmon rather than farm-grown fish.

    Lentils

    Lentils and beans are a rich source of protein and fiber and folate and it is the main source of protein for vegan people. Folates and fiber help in maintaining the perfect hormonal balance which is essential for reproductive organs.

    The amino acids present in protein helps in promoting healthier ovulation which plays an important role in the release of eggs and their fertilization. Lentils contain polyamine spermidine which helps in the fertilization of the egg.

    Organ Meat

    Organ meat is a rich source of fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin A and iron which is essential for the formation of a red blood cell. It is often observed that women have iron deficiency caused by menstruation.

    The highly absorbable iron helps in preventing miscarriages and maternal anemia. The absence of essential nutrients such as vitamin B12 and iron leads to frequent miscarriages and hence infertility.

    Sunflower Seed

    Sunflower seed is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, and other essential vitamins and minerals. It also contains antioxidants which are essential for the neutralization of chronic oxidative in the body.

    In addition to these, it is rich in zinc, folate, and selenium which regulates the blood circulation in reproductive organs. It can also help in increasing libido and provide a healthy sexual experience.

    Citrus Fruit

    Citrus fruits such as oranges, lemon, grapefruit are loaded with vitamin C and antioxidants. These are also rich in calcium, potassium, and folate which play important role in ovulation and release of mature eggs for fertilization.

    Citrus fruits also contain polyamine putrescine in abundance which improves egg and sperm health. It is also effective in reducing the chromosomal defects in fertilized eggs by 50% as per the study. Moreover, antioxidants help in protecting eggs from free radicals.

    Oyster

    When we talk about the fertility food it is almost impossible to exclude oyster from the list, it is loaded with the essential nutrients which helps in improving the fertility in women and men and provides pleasurable experience.

    It is rich in iron, zinc, selenium, and vitamin B12, which play a vital role in improving egg health, healthy ovulation, blood circulation in reproductive organs, improved libido and prevents miscarriages and maternal anemia.

    Fat Rich Diet

    The natural plant-based fat source as avocado, olive, nuts, and seeds helps in reducing inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory properties which helps in promoting regular ovulation and fertility.

    Studies support that consumption of monounsaturated fats like avocado during the IVF cycle helps in increasing the chance of success on contrary to the women who didn’t consume fats.

    However, trans fats and saturated fats have detrimental effects on ovulation and fertility. It’s always advisable to avoid these items if you are looking for conception.

    Summary

    The fear of dead-end lineage is clouded in many of the people however there is very little done to dissipate this situation. However, it can be the magnitude of severity can be minimized by a slight change in lifestyle and food habits which have a positive impact on female fertility and conception. The foods can improve fertility but can make someone fertile. It is always said that “Prevention Is Better Than Cure”.
