A neurologist said that he can prevent the consequences of a stroke if he can check the person three hours before the stroke. He says that the trick is to recognize the stroke, diagnose it and cure it within three hours, but it is not that simple.

Here’s how to recognize a stroke:

  • Ask the person to smile – It will not be able to do it!
  • Ask the person to speak a completely normal sentence, for example “Today is a beautiful day.” There will be a problem pronouncing it!
  • Ask the person to raise both arms. It will not be able to do that!
  • Ask the person to hold the tongue out of the mouth. If the tongue is moving from side to side, it is also a sign of stroke.

If a person has problems with one of the above steps, immediately call an emergency and describe the symptoms.

While waiting for the emergency help to arrive, with a sharp disinfected object cut the top of the thumb of the victim to drop a few drops of blood.

This method in the east is known as the “SU YOK” therapy, it is described as the first step in the treatment of stroke.
